About

About Everyday AI Practice

Everyday AI Practice is an independent educational publication about using generative AI thoughtfully and safely in everyday work. This page explains what we are, what we are not, and how we produce our content.

An independent educational publication

Everyday AI Practice publishes plain-language guides and articles about practical artificial intelligence: how generative AI works, how to apply it to everyday tasks, and how to use it responsibly. Our readers are professionals, small-business owners, and curious individuals in the United States who want to understand the technology without the marketing gloss.

The publication is independent. We do not sell software, we do not operate a technical support service, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any AI vendor or technology company. When we discuss a specific product, we name it directly and describe it in ordinary terms rather than as a recommendation or an official resource.

What this publication is not

  • Not a vendor website. We do not market or represent any AI product or service.
  • Not a support center. We cannot help with account, billing, or technical problems for any product.
  • Not professional advice. Our content is general education, not legal, financial, medical, or security advice for your specific situation.
  • Not a guarantee of accuracy. We explain how to work with AI systems and their limits; we never claim that AI output is always correct.

How we work

Our articles aim to be practical and honest. In practice that means a few consistent commitments:

  • Plain language. We explain ideas in American English without unnecessary jargon, and define terms when we must use them.
  • Realistic limits. Every guide names the risks, failure modes, and review steps relevant to the task it describes.
  • Traceable claims. We avoid invented statistics, fabricated studies, testimonials, and case studies. When we cannot source something, we say so rather than dressing it up as fact.
  • Clear accountability. We treat human review and responsibility as essential, not optional.

How we use AI in producing our content

AI tools may assist our editorial process for tasks such as outlining, checking clarity, or suggesting alternative phrasing. Final decisions about content, accuracy, and publication rest with a human editor. We do not publish claims we have not reviewed, and we do not present machine-generated text as verified fact. Questions about our approach are welcome through our contact page.

Independence and funding

The publication is not currently supported by advertising or sponsorship. If we ever accept advertising or sponsored content, it will be clearly labeled as such and will not influence our editorial conclusions. We do not accept payment to publish favorable coverage of any product.

Standards, corrections, and terms

Our editorial practices are described in our editorial standards. When we make a mistake, we correct it and note the change in line with our corrections policy. Your use of the site is governed by our terms of use, privacy policy, and disclaimer.
